Community Reopening – Phase II

Dear Residents:

We are happy to announce that Phase I has been successful and we are ready to roll out Phase II of the Reopening plan. With your cooperation, we are prepared to reopen the pools effective Friday, June 26th with limited operating hours of 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Please keep in mind to avoid large groups of more than 50 and observe physical distancing measures.

Areas that will now be open (Friday through Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.) with limitations:

  • Main Pool
  • Kiddie Pool
  • Playground
  • Basketball Court

Please adhere to the following policies to protect everyone and make this a safe environment for all:

  • Only 50 people are allowed at a time in the pool area.
  • Access is limited to residents only, no guests allowed.
  • Residents must be at least 16 years old – or be accompanied by an adult.
  • Residents must be prepared to present an ID.
  • Residents who are ill must not be in the pool or on the deck area.
  • For your safety, pool furniture has been removed – please consider bringing your own chairs.
  • Chairs brought by residents must be removed when they leave the pool area.
  • Consider bringing your own sanitizers.
  • Please observe 1 hour limits if others are waiting to use the pool.
  • Wash your hands upon entering the pool area and before leaving the restrooms.
  • Wear a cloth face covering while not in the water. * Per CDC: Don’t place cloth face coverings on children under age 2 or anyone who has trouble breathing or is unconscious, weak, or otherwise unable to remove the cover without help.

Failure to follow these restrictions or limitations, or failure to comply with the already existing rules could result in reclosure of the amenities.

Maintenance will be conducting thorough cleaning of frequently touched objects and surfaces using disinfectant cleaning supplies every morning prior to opening.

THE ASSOCIATION CANNOT GUARANTEE A GERM/VIRUS FREE ENVIRONMENT.

Residents are encouraged to bring their own disinfecting wipes and/or sanitizers for use at the pools, pool decks, clubhouse areas and bathrooms, playground and basketball court.

While we make every effort to ensure that our facilities are regularly cleaned, Waterleaf HOA has no information regarding the health status of individuals using these facilities.  Individuals may still become infected and transmit or contaminate surfaces with the Covid-19 Coronavirus while they are asymptomatic and have no symptoms.

Therefore, use of facilities is at your own risk, and you assume all risk and liabilities if you choose to use these facilities.

Management office remains closed to walk-in traffic. Resident interaction in person with management will be handled by appointment only. All resident requests and inquiries will be handled via telephone and email.

Social events and gatherings will remain cancelled as per the CDC. Clubhouse reservations are suspended until further notice.

Thank you all, and welcome back to your pool and pool deck!
